✨ We’re excited to share the launch of our brand-new website, beautifully designed with the team at Rock Kitchen Harris (@rkhleicester)!
This marks an important step in our commitment to putting pupil wellbeing and safety first. You’ll notice we’re moving away from close-up, full-face images of pupils in our public digital spaces, ensuring we continue to celebrate their achievements while also protecting them from the growing risk of image misuse.
This launch also coincides with our refreshed branding. We`re placing accessibility front and centre introducing a modern, more readable font in our updated logo.
We encourage you to explore our new site and enjoy discovering what’s new! 🚀

Alongside celebrating our 175th birthday in 2025, we are also celebrating another remarkable milestone – 100 years of Houses. In their 100th year, however, the whole school body voted to change the House names to women who have had key roles in LHS history. Today, our new Year 7s become the first cohort to be put into the new Houses – Andrews, Bristol, Charnock and Hartley. To read more about our new House names, visit the website: lsf.org/high/100-years-of-houses-encourages-positive-change
