Visit Loughborough High School
As much as we hope our website paints a rounded picture of what you can expect from our School, nothing compares with visiting in person to explore our enviable setting, appreciate the School’s wonderfully welcoming spirit and to experience the happiness, courtesy and warmth of our pupils, teaching staff and Foundation team.
We have a saying that ‘every school day is an Open Day’. If the School is open, then we will always welcome visitors, doing our very best to fit around you and your child or children.
Please note that whilst our admissions events and tours are open to all, spaces are limited and prior registration is required. We would also ask that personal tours are pre-arranged with our Admissions Manager

Personal Tour
Option one and perhaps the most immediate solution, is to contact our Admissions Manager and arrange a personal tour.
We invite you to make an appointment at a time and date to suit you. During the tour you will dip into lessons, get a sense of a day in the life of the School and see some of our outstanding facilities for learning, sport and co-curricular activities, including the first-class Loughborough Schools Music building. Parking for visitors is available at the Loughborough Schools Foundation main entrance on the A6 and refreshments will be offered.
Open Events
Option two is to come along on one of our events.
Open Mornings and Evenings give us an opportunity to be fully focussed on visitors, with tours, complemented by an enjoyable range of performances, displays of work and presentations from the Head and key staff members.
Our Sixth Form Open Evening is specifically aimed at girls in Year 11 who are choosing their next step. Meet our Head and Director of Sixth Form before being taken on a bespoke tour of our campus and your preferred subjects.

Taster Day
Option three is for your daughter to join us for a Taster Day. We value our taster days as an important part of the decision making process for you and your daughter and we offer them for girls of all ages.
If your daughter is in Year 5, we would be delighted for her to join us on 23 June 2027 for our Year 7 Taster Day. It is a fun and engaging day during which the girls take part in activities, meet other pupils, gain an insight into High School life and most importantly, test out our dining hall!
We also offer specific days for girls in Year 11 to experience life in our Sixth form. We arrange a bespoke programme of lessons tailored to your daughter’s preferred subjects giving her the chance to test out life as a Sixth Former. For girls looking to join Years 8, 9 or 10, we would be delighted to welcome them in for a personal taster day where they would spend the day alongside girls in their year group.

Virtual visit
Option four: We are delighted to be able to offer parents the opportunity to explore Loughborough High School on our Virtual Tour.
Virtual visits can be arranged with the Head or member of the Senior Leadership Team.
