Excellent GCSE Results Reflect our Commitment to Academic Excellence

,

We’re delighted to be celebrating another year of outstanding GCSE results with over 26% of grades achieved by Year 11 pupils were Grade 9. In our 175th year, these results secure Loughborough High School’s place as one of the leading academic girls’ schools in the UK.

More than 50% were awarded Grade 9-8 and five pupils achieved the fantastic feat of eight or more Grade 9s.

Head of Loughborough High School, Dr Fiona Miles, said: “We could not be prouder of our Year 11s, who have achieved super GCSE results while also giving so much to the School, from sporting success to excellence in music, drama and much more. We can’t wait to see them in the sixth form!”

Results across the cohort were strong and many pupils look to pursue their studies in our supportive Sixth Form. With a broad range of subjects to choose from, we ensure our girls have every opportunity to succeed in their future careers and beyond.

Result Figures:

9-8 – 51%

9-7 – 69%

9-5 – 92%
