Thank you for coming to see us at Notts County Fair!

It was lovely to meet you. We hope our conversation gave you a glimpse into life at Loughborough High School and the many opportunities available to girls both inside and outside the classroom.

Girls achieve their best when they are known, supported and encouraged to aim high. Pupils benefit from outstanding teaching, exceptional pastoral care and a huge range of opportunities that help them grow into confident, compassionate and ambitious young women.

Alongside strong academic success, girls enjoy more than 130 co-curricular opportunities, a rich sporting tradition, state-of-the-art music facilities and the chance to make a real difference through the many charities and leadership initiatives supported across the school. As part of a co-educational campus, girls also benefit from shared experiences that help build confidence and prepare them for life beyond school.

We hope this gives you a glimpse of what makes Loughborough High School such a special place, and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

If you have any questions, our Admissions Team will be delighted to assist. Please call us on 01509 283800 or email high.admissions@lsf.org.

Best of both worlds

An all-girls school on a co-educational campus

Our all-girls environment allows us to focus on the ways girls learn, grow and develop best. From the classroom to co-curricular life, girls are encouraged to aim high, take on new challenges and develop the confidence to use their voice. In a supportive setting where every pupil is known and encouraged, girls thrive academically while growing into compassionate, ambitious and independent young women.

At the same time, our wider campus offers valuable opportunities for co-educational collaboration, particularly with our brother school, Loughborough Grammar School. Shared experiences across Music, Drama, Sport, the Combined Cadet Force, Sixth Form enrichment and social events help girls build confidence, broaden perspectives and develop strong friendships beyond the classroom

A rich sporting culture

From Year 6 through to Sixth Form, pupils benefit from a broad and ambitious Games Programme, with core sports including hockey, netball, cricket and football, alongside opportunities in athletics, badminton, swimming, climbing, fitness and more.

Girls are supported by specialist coaches and outstanding facilities, including Quorn playing fields and the Parkin Sports Centre, complete with a state-of-the-art fitness suite, creating an environment where every pupil can develop physically, mentally and socially.

Our sporting culture is strengthened by experienced staff, including current and former athletes competing nationally and internationally, who bring valuable expertise and inspiration to school sport. Pupils also benefit from links with elite sport through the wider Loughborough sporting community and our partnership with the Loughborough University National Tennis Academy (LUNTA), where talented young players combine elite-level training with academic study.

Current pupil Daniella has recently been awarded a Wimbledon 2026 qualifying wildcard, following in the footsteps of LUNTA alumna Mika Stojsavljevic, winner of the 2024 US Open Girls’ Singles title. Having elite athletes immersed in the school community provides younger girls with role models who inspire ambition, dedication and self-belief.

Alongside a thriving fixture programme and extensive co-curricular provision, our Student Athlete Programme supports pupils competing at regional and national level, helping them balance sporting ambition with academic success and personal wellbeing.
