Pupils from across the Loughborough Schools Foundation celebrated another successful showing at the 2025 ISTA Championships, held at Eton College from June 29 to July 2. Founded in 1947, the ISTA Championships bring together nearly 75 independent schools and represent one of the most prestigious national tournaments for school tennis in the UK. The competition crowns U15, U19, and senior champions across multiple cups, including the Thomas Bowl (U15 boys), Asbury-Bailey Cup (U15 girls), and Loveband Trophy (U19 girls).
Three pairs were entered from across both Loughborough Grammar School and Loughborough High School with all players competing strongly. They demonstrated cohesion, tenacity, and performance development across high-pressure scenarios and gained a wonderful experience playing on the historic grounds of Eton College.
