We’re delighted to be celebrating the exceptional exam results of our Year 11 pupils today as 28% of grades achieved were at Grade 9, increasing from 26% in 2025.
An incredible 68% of girls achieved Grade 9-7 at GCSE, with 14 pupils achieving six or more Grade 9s.
Strong results have been seen across language subjects, with 80% of pupils receiving Grade 9-8 in French and 71% in Spanish. Pupils have also excelled in Italian with 75% achieving Grade 9-8.
Reflecting on the results, Dr Fiona Miles, Head of Loughborough High School, said: “We are so proud of our Year 11 pupils, who have achieved superb results and shown such spirit and resilience during their time with us. They have been a wonderful year group and we look forward to welcoming them to Sixth Form!”
Year 11 pupil, Alexa, who is now set to study Physics, Maths, Further Maths and History at A Level, said: “The exam revision was hard work, but it was all worth it in the end. I feel very relieved now and I’m really happy with my results.”
Results across the cohort were strong, and many pupils now look ahead to pursuing their studies in our enriching Sixth Form. With a broad range of subjects to choose from, exceptional pastoral care and dedicated guidance with careers and futures, we ensure our girls have every opportunity to succeed in life beyond school.
